Not to be greedy, but I am needy and today I want and need You. Cyber blue skies dance in front of me though reality speaks only in cold graytones and skipping a heart beat means time is of the essence one more for the road, please and whatever the morrow brings can wait till then. |

Quite a compelling plea kacy. Hoping you have the proper "meds" for that "heart ailment". Ed |

LOL, Ed, I threw them all away two years ago, and feel better. *sigh* I won't let my life be controlled by the array of drugs I took for years that actually kept me from LIVING it each day. (Hugging you for your concern.) |

LOL, hi Sky hope you found time to ride today. Remind me to tell you about the stallion that was 'hanging out' in the arena today. LOL |

Depression in Winter There comes a little space between the south side of a boulder and the snow that fills the woods around it. Sun heats the snow, reveals a crescent of bare ground: brown ferns, and tufts of needles like red hair, acorns, a patch of moss, bright green… . I sank with every step up to my knees, throwing myself forward with a violence of effort, greedy for unhappiness— until by accident I found the stone, with its secret porch of heat and light, where something small could luxuriate, then turned back down my path, chastened and calm. John, what about your own reaction to this, your own words, instead of quoting someone else's words as a reply? I don't believe it is appropriate to constantly pull someone else's words out of a book and then attach them as if they were yours, even when you do give credit, and even if you think they speak for you. I'd much rather have you speak something from your own mind and heart. Just a suggestion. |
