Inside this almost silent night, begun with quiet strings of stars threading through the cooling air, comfortably alone I slip desire gently on my skin; welcome worn threadbare from sharing endless comfort in the dark beneath the silence, sounds bequeathed in subtle ripples of legacy’s despair, there is magic all around me free, free not to be required, freely seen in all its power. I draw the lightning then the rolling sounds of thunder’s grasp, on every branch and bower the ritual gift of Autumn showers; the world relaxes all existence, opening in paradox to receive the offering of self. ©2004 by icebox |

icebox Although some of the visuals in this are of power and chaos, the feeling that comes in reading it is of quiet and peace. Very much enjoyed! |
