If You Believe In Fairies

If you believe in fairies,
For sure they’ll always be your guide.
To help you find that twinkle
That ignites your light inside.

If you believe in fairies,
Then you'll always have a tiny friend,
Someone you can always talk to,
A special someone, on which to depend.

If you believe in fairies,
People will think you're just so sweet,
For inside your heart a fairy lives,
To greet people with love that you meet.

My little angels I gift you two fairies,
Their names are Angora, and Dove.
They'll always take good care of you,
Fluttering about invisibly above.

So if feel a tiny wind of flutter,
You may wonder what indeed it was,
Don't worry, it's your guardian fairy,
Dancing ~ for that's what a fairy does.

Listen when you go to bed tonight,
For they often tend to sing,
Of elves, and other tiny miracles,
The kind of joy only the wee folk bring.

They'll gladly sing you both to sleep
With their tales of magical delight,
Then they'll flutter down to your cheek,
Kissing you from me~ a sweet goodnight.

Love,
Gramma

Thanks Mari, can't be there tonight, so I send them a poem for bedtime, (your turn will come trust me.) LOL (They like music too but that darn grinch, Ron cut me off adding music on my poems.)  Love ma bells and whistles yanno?  Hope it is a beautiful sunny day in NY, can almost see the park in my mind.

Well thank you all for believing - they do exist you know?

I collect antique burmese glass "fairy lights," and when they stay over to sleep, I light all of the fairy lights in my bedroom.  Of course the flicker of the candle sends the patterns from the old glass onto my ceiling.  Hence, the fairies dance all night until either they close their eyes, or the candle burns out - whichever comes first - guess which does come first?  Sweet dreams to you all.

We believe.
