Swirled Anticipation Arm cradle held back to chest against the 2 a.m. breeze Where platinum sweeps the brows of mesmerize intent Souls bound in the imprints of hearts resting on knees Between the inclines of passion and an embrace ascent Siren songs longing for the lyrics of two lost in ecstasy Written in cyan harmony against a horizon of afterglow Where truth becomes spiral in it's tilt of whisper fantasy Laced with dolphin encore answering ovations in tempo Captured caress resonates in arch of surrendering touch Framed audience of constellations seated front row sigh Rippled bliss nurturing pools of palmed desire as such When outstretch of fingers linger in Jupiter’s hidden eye Quivers of promise relinquish chaired visions of release Planets align to the chorus of whispers sent aloft tonight Swirled anticipation reclines against a shadow of peace As passion turns the breath of Venus loose to it’s flight Mark Christopher |

Captured caress resonates in arch of surrendering touch Framed audience of constellations seated front row sigh Rippled bliss nurturing pools of palmed desire as such When outstretch of fingers linger in Jupiter’s hidden eye I enjoyed this verse the most Mark, but must say the images and visuals you leave the reader with are breathtaking! Very well done. The greatest beauty on earth, is |

Okay I may look stupid but here goes, do you realize I had read that twice before I even realized it rhymed - now that is rhyme. Absolutely beautiful work. Only one other on this site can fool me that way. |

Where platinum sweeps the brows of mesmerize intent Between the inclines of passion and an embrace ascent ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Written in cyan harmony against a horizon of afterglow Where truth becomes spiral in it's tilt of whisper fantasy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Framed audience of constellations seated front row sigh When outstretch of fingers linger in Jupiter’s hidden eye ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quivers of promise relinquish chaired visions of release Swirled anticipation reclines against a shadow of peace ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I need to find new adjectives and accolades to describe your poetry...my mothy vocabulary fails to do justice to such lovely dreamscape images... You paint us a panaramic view with your ever impressive style... I know I say this with each write...but the personifications are just so awesome...the personif added to the mix of metaphor and high inspire imagery, wrapped in your romantic rhymed intend is the heart of your writing. you write love poetry on the stars ... you tint the dawn with anticipation... Written in cyan harmony against a horizon of afterglow Where truth becomes spiral in it's tilt of whisper fantasy those lines serve proof to my point.. they are pure poetic perfection. Absolute...Awesome... dont doubt the moth. I would love to live as a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding. |

JM - No need for questions on your reply. I thank you dearly and you know that. You always allow me the perspective from anothers view though it be a little bias in there. LOL You know I appreciate your replies but what I do appreciate more is the what we have grown together since meeting in here. Seems that is getting rarer by the moment these days so never doubt just how much the cherish goes. Love ya my friend even if your wings are a little scorched now and then. |

Mark- this is a lovely piece - you've captured the celestial beauty and romance of the stars and planets - nothing quite like the sky to inspire, is there - Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

JM - Somehow I knew you were going to find a way to post a few graphics and you found some beauties. Thanks sweets for being so good to me always. Susan - The sky and a love make it very easy to find inspiration. Thank you dearly for your visit and comments. James - Thank you kind sir. Sue - It's been awhile but so very happy to see you here. Thank you very much for your always generous and kind comments. Duncan - Well look at all the typing JM saved you from having to do. I know how much you hate to type anyway beings you type with your toes and all. Thank you for letting me know which verse and lines you liked most. That coming from you is almost as much a treat as watching you try to get off that porch of yours. LOL As for the target practice ... well you know I am always ready for that. LeeJ - WOW !!! thanks for that excitement. I think I can pretty much promise that there will be some encores to come still. Thank you so very much for those words. I appreciate them much. |

Mark, It took many reads to decide what I liked the best...and I couldn't, because the all is so excellent... But this... ..."Quivers of promise relinquish chaired visions of release Planets align to the chorus of whispers sent aloft tonight Swirled anticipation reclines against a shadow of peace As passion turns the breath of Venus loose to it’s flight" Oh, what an amazing view! You know, reading an English poem is almost as difficult as writing one, at least for me that is, because I'm lacking a huge vocabulary. But can grasp quite well the meaning intended here and I read all the replies and then read the poem again. But even not knowing the meaning of all the words doesn't bother me at all, because your lines are so well formed that just reading them is a pleasure in itself. Titia Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

You do have a way with words. Some of my faves..."against the 2 a.m. breeze", "audience of constellations seated front row sigh", "nurturing pools" I could have listed the whole poem. Nicely done indeed, Mark. |
