A Frumpy Star

I fell from out a frumpy star
A Humpty Dumpty much too far
And there in pieces on the ground
I lie till now and still not found

The entire parade passed me by
With not a sigh and not a cry
I watched them from the grassy loom
By light of day and shine of moon

And I grow weary of the stay
Where all my pieces waste away
Falling into smaller grime
Dissolving with the passing time

Perhaps some old historian
Will find and paste them back again
And see the beauty of this bowl
Perhaps the beauty of its soul

But then it will be much too late
The DNA’s resuscitate

Even when you're in a frump
you find treasures in a dump.

I often feel as though I've shattered into a pile of little pieces.
You left lots for me to ponder this morn Sy.

Twinkle twinkle poetic star ...
how I adore all that you are.
Shining high upon the pages blue ...
each day I come and *winkie* wish on you.

Star light ... Sy-star bright ...
with you insight ... all is right.

And I grow weary of the stay
Where all my pieces waste away
Falling into smaller grime
Dissolving with the passing time
I've felt like this very same star at times Sy....
hugs to you dear man.

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those
who love....

Much to ponder much to squander makes a meal of much to wander.

Goodness gracious! Me oh my!
T-Man's made his "angel" cry.
I'll find each piece and glue it back
Then cosy you up in my beach wrap
I'll build a fire to make you warm
And shelter you from passing storm.
Hot cocoa will take out the chill
There's lots of home-cooking ~ so eat your fill!
We'll top it off with a Napoleon brandy
And I've got some wine for dragon Randy.

Your poem was precious ~ but sad. Hope your feeling all better after your angel treatments!

Might that historian be one of the kings men? Nicely done Sy.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
