footprint moon
in a tiptoe sky

where the voyeur wolf
forgets his hidden

and soughs his mate song
the mist women ponder

the shiver of virgins
when they dance their sins

at fireside confessionals
where their fingers are sticks

and the watchers wear glasses
that hold the cold inside

behind closed eyes
and open their limbs

like trees wanting rain
and stevie sings gypsy

to the man with marble gaze

scribblenote..lone pine is a little town in calif, up 395..mt whitney is there and and at night you can here the sky bringing winter to her..local indians speak of her often, how she has a big empty and needs many blizzards to sooth her soul.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Ummmm...Lone Pine.  I've been there.  It's true, too, how the night speaks to it before cloaking it in dark...

and how the sun shines her awakening...

Another

and a read like this is like cream in my coffee... a must have!

A beautiful place, Lone Pine...my first taste of mountain on the way to Mammoth.  I always enjoy your colorful take on things, my friend.
