Nobody Don't mind me I'm just nobody till somebody loves me till somebody sees me the real me To hold, to meld into the real me Nobody I'm not anybody you'd call noticeable but if perchance you notice me in the croud lost at sea throw me a life preserver save me from the absurdity of my life Nobody knows me Nobody knows the real me so here I remain just your average nobody Hey, I wish you all the best Don't mind me I'm nobody you'd want to know but say you'd want to know me even it probably isn't true So tell me what to do tell me where to go 'Cause I'm nobody living nowhere in particular living on the ashes of her living in memories, dreaming I'll be somebody with somebody standing by me Till then I'm nobody Hey, I wish you all the best and more just don't walk out the door I don't want to be nobody forever I don't want be without somebody forever "Poets are all who love, who feel great truths, and tell them; and the truth of truths is love." --Philip James Bailey |
