Is it bad
that I don't think
about you?

Is it too fast
for me to be
over you?

Is it okay
that I don't
miss us?

I thought I loved you

but maybe
towards the end
I didn't.

Should I be sorry?

and then He created the horse...

Rhonda, you shouldn't be sorry if you know it was over.  You should be glad that you realized it.  Well thought out questions.

Ah, the answer is in the the questions themselves - if you must question why you don't feel, then it is good you are out -

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Perhaps you realized in time..that happens.
Don't feel sorry your feelings aren't as strong as you thought they would be.

This is a quiet and gentle read, with an indefinable sadness.  Well done.

In the end you can let go because you have healed. No guilt required. Optional, but not required. Good write.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
