A Plan for You and Me

He is listening for that faithful voice.
Weeping in the night, a song or verse,
of any language in rambling or terse.

When will He hear your voice, calling out to Him?
His ear is close…

He is patient yet stern.
He has waited just for you, to take your turn…
Millions of voices are at His door,
and He hears them all including yours…

His search is not a rule,
He is simply waiting for you.
Waiting for us all to take His promise
with faith and truth.

He will not break His word to you or me.
He is faithful and always will be…

He collects our tears
in the palms of his hands
and is listening now, to reveal His plan…
