Memories I Will Cherish Forever

Meeting welcoming friends
Was the highlight of my trip
A surprise party held for me
As we reunited in friendship

It had been thirty five years
So lots of hugs and kissing
There was fun and laughter
With everyone reminiscing

Old photos passed around
Of our school days together
Recollecting so many faces
Memories I'll cherish forever

Ties that we made long ago
Are bonds that have no end
It was a night of celebration
As we joined friend to friend

Thank you Margherita , yes it truly was a wonderful few weeks meeting up with friends again .... the only thing was my sister rang on my return to say that Dad had to go back in hospital , thank goodness he was able to shared those weeks together

Thank you Marge for your kind reply and kind thoughts ... being that I live so far away I missed out on a couple of reunions , so when they heard I was flying over a group of my close school friends planned a surprise party for me ...we had the most wonderful night and my sons got to meet them also
