the lights of the C-train station
remind me of an airport
the worn floors tell a tale
past travalers
these trains
these memories
the world of movement
it's so familiar
darting lights
voices from far away
these trains
these memories
the need to move
to be free
i'll share the dream with you
it's dark out
and the city lights are glaring me in the eyes
telling me of busier times
these trains
these memories

*side note* in case you dont know,C-trains are like above ground subways.

This brought memories back when I used the train and your poem caught the atmosphere very well.

I enjoyed this read.
