wallpaper in hotel rooms
seems to compare sizes
and shapes and sounds
to the last occupant

sometimes I see it watching
when I am doing yoga
while wearing black socks
and my wrist watch

I can hear the chuckle
and then the mirror there
by the dressertvgideonbible combo
catches me looking back

to see if I am really alone
before I get more personal
and watch that channel
that costs ten dollars

morning after shower curtains
that are way too familiar
when they cling to my thigh
and resent me pushing them away

I know then I was not the first

Okay, can't say that I was watching the same channel...but it is annoying having that shower curtain stick to you in that too small shower.
