The Road To life

Life is like a winding road
into the mountains of destiny.
The mountain has one side
that is leading you to your
distant future.
The other side has deep dark canyons
that lead you
into the darkness of the unknown.
Life ! Like the mountain,
may go high into the clouds
with happiness and laughter,
or
deep down into the dark canyons
of sorrow and sadness.
May the mountains of destiny be kind, and
fill your life with love and happiness.
If by chance your life is filled with sorrow,
remember, the road of life takes many turns.
God knows of your sadness and pain.
As you give Him your faith and love,
He will give you peace and everlasting life,
for this is His promise to you-
On your Road to Life.

Dear Bonnie, "the road of life has many turns" indeed. A beautiful, insightful write.

I too believe that God knows and helps us to regain the heights, when we are down in deep darkness.
