tenth floor over Hyde park

after
six hours of white sleep
in this white bed

i watch you sideways
in this white morning as it kisses your eyes

excitement spills from your toes upon the ledge
and the giggles from your breath fogs the glass
enough to wrap you three times

and paints you yellow in trees

Maree, it is so good to see you posting regularly. Whatever brings it from you now, this at least is one good result.

I do enjoy these watercolor sketches of yours, as I have every poem of yours that I have seen. When I see Dark Angel, I know I'm in for a treat.
