he was in his condo
behind
long sheathes
of revealing glass,
above
a single pine
left to remind.

he did not know
i was across the way,
watching him watch
a blue square
at the end of his movie,
as a hung mirror
revealed the other side of him
near
to dreaming dreams
below
a single cloud
left to rain.
