....not in the elequence of other pieces I've read here today --- but an attempt at Autumn from me.

Voices of Autumn

Autumn spoke to me
from a pile of leaves
just as I burned it’s breath away

It left me with the scent of it’s leaving
the darkening of it colors
the ash of it’s demise

And I was saddened
that I had hastened it’s passing.

Geese
their plaintive cries
echoed from the sky –
they flew from the north
landed in the field,
bathed in other ashes I’d left –
then flew again

treetop high
circling me
speaking for the leaves I burned
then flew
from the north again.

The trees shook
breath of the wind
red leaves – yellow –
brown
shades inbetween

Autumn has spoken with me – again

I believe that Autumn has blessed you with a beautiful song Jimmy. Very well done m'friend, and so very good to read you again.

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those

Lovely - this.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
