Eternity

Your love brings warmth like the rising sun
And like blossoming purple violets and orange roses,
We reach out hungrily in your nourishing light;
The renewing of life is often misunderstood
And we the children must have faith in the Father
When we pray to be comforted from the coming night;
And though the night brings darkness and sleep,
The sparkling stars in the sky shine as diamonds and
pearls
Adorning the chosen, in riches and glory beyond the
physical
As God awakens the soul with a gentle kiss of eternity
and paradise---
So let our hearts rejoice in the sweet happiness of
His calling
And not weep with the setting of the glorious sun.
