Hi Susan,

Yes..very true...this is a common theme in Vedic thought as well. The deep spiritual traditions of every religion are based on the the underlying concept of unity. Not just between man, but man and nature, man and God. As Meister Eckhart said..."the eye in which I see God, is the same eye in which God sees me."

Zen helps to strip away the concepts and notions that stand between us. Zen helps us to see. And in the end...just as with every tool...Zen is released so that there is nothing between us and reality.

I am you...as you are me.

Jesus spoke beautifuly of this on so many occasions. A truth that he knew so intimatly.
