In the music of your words I can not speak of the fire between us I can not speak of the glory of raising our hands together to heaven I can not speak of knowing you If we did we would burn briefly If we do not we will burn forever |

So much said in so few words but then, the ability to do that is a gift in itself. The reasoning and the wisdom in this piece is superb and I very much enjoyed. I especially like the way you tied it together in the end so solidly. |

Mark Many thanks. Reaching into yourself is often just an attitude and waiting as you really dig deeper until your mind crystalises the meaning you meant but couldn't find. This is like meditation with it's fears of losing control over what is happening when you are relaxing but not in an approved method - like sleep. Words are easy to write but desire of the meaning may leave you with that meaning even though you are unhappy with it. You will not allow others to see it because you may fear it. By the same token, some words I work with for years which change for the better but dont come back to the original. Others I keep coming back to and this is one of a draft that I have never been able to take further although I have tried. A long explanation I know. Writing the poetry is easier, I think. Dave |
