Never

I never thought I’d see the day
When pictures turned to ghosts display
And never thought I’d miss the sounds
That in my memory abounds

I never thought the sun would shine
Without the family of my vine
Each hold that dropped away my hand
Left empty seats without a band

The music of the former day
Has drifted on horizons play
And I am left an orphan now
And do not know the why or how

Melancholy fills my mind
Where do I go to find its kind?
Where can I catch the train or lorry?
To say the words that I am sorry

I say you friend to say it now
There are no seconds of endow

there were many good thoughts penetrating my heart from your words

1. I'd like to think of our world as family
and so to others we celebrate

2. the word I'm Sorry means so much...especially when you hold that person's hands in yours...eye to eye

3.  Your sunshine in a world of poetry
and I'm so thankful for your words

4.  Happy Friday and may the Gods smile
upon your heart

Hugs
Me

Dear Seymour, this is quite sad and renders so powerfully your thoughts and your beautiful heart.

Have a love filled day, full of sunshine to brighten you up.

Love and hugs.

Dear Friend, this does not seem to be a very good morning for you. But I will tell you this, if your words are indeed a reflection of what you are truly experiencing at this time, then this poem would be the perfect gift to give this person. ~ A loving bandage to heal all wounds.

May all be forgiven ~ if there be anything to forgive!

Loving rainbow hugs,
EA

A group of smiling faces that have lost their places. Thank you and good morning.

Margherita,
Thank you dear and your poem was a delight.

Earth Angel,
Forgiveness is a flower that needs nurturing.
And its bloom is a subtle gray.
Being an Angel must be difficult

To say "I love you," or "I'm thinking of you," holds great weight, just as you say, Sy, when you leave a poem to ponder each morning for us "kids".  I hope this finds you well today...

it's not easy being an orphan, at any age...

Indeed time is shorter than any of us would like to admit and you remind us quite well that we should not waste what we have.  Sometimes it is the hardest to say the most simple of things and now you got me thinking that there are a few phone calls I should make.  Excellent write sir as always.

No necture is sweeter than that of Family - and it's loss leaves a thirst that cannot be quenched.  I so understand this, as my Mother was the finest of her kind.  Pictures turned to ghosts - what an amazing thought.

Hugs to you -   Susan
