One More Time…Between the Lines By Larry Chadwick It's been a long time between the lines... You greet me in the morning, Let’s do that again With a smile and a kiss. Let’s do that again I knew from the beginning, Let’s do that again I could get used to this. Sometimes you call me during the day, Let’s do that again Just to say, “I love you." Let’s do that again Not only is it pleasant, Let’s do that again I like it when you do. You sparkle with a smile, Let’s do that again When I bring flowers to you. Let’s do that again And read each loving note, Let’s do that again That is filled with love so true. You ride with me for hours, Let’s do that again Whether on the motorcycle or in the car. Let’s do that again I am sure that you would go with me, Let’s do that again On a journey to the farthest star. I remember the day it all began, Let’s do that again When we locked our hearts together. Let’s do that again Accomplished with a simple, “Yes I do.” Let’s do that again That was the beginning of forever. September 23, 2004 If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
