+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ Lavender pinks and sherbet orange skies, ~ Visions of grandeur beheld by awing eyes. Swirls of cotton candy are lit by sinking sun. God's perfect paintings are gifts for everyone. The stillness is broken by a nightingale's song. There is peace and a calmness as shadows grow long. A time for reflection at the end of busy days, To bask in the beauty of divine setting rays. +*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+ |

The stillness is broken by a nightingale's song. There is peace and a calmness as shadows grow long. but what sweeter way to break the silence? i experienced this very stanza last night, watching the earlier sunsets now that darkness comes earlier.. |

Cotton Candy Skies - and Angel after my own heart - it is amazing, the the paintings upon canvas that are oft times presented for our enjoyment - a gift, surely, from a loving God. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Such a beautiful image you paint for us and believe me, I do enjoy the imagery in a poem and I do enjoy that special time of day. Now if only it were that time right now. |
