I am as a black panther Sleek, strong, wild of heart Yet bound to convention Behind these velvet bars Chained in shackles of custom In a pretty kitty palace I am watched and adored By proprieties eyes A novelty on display Who has learned how to behave To smile pretty at the little kiddies And not growl too loud But all the while I pace my cage My spirit longing for the jungle The freedom of space and possibility To stretch my soul and run my length To call loudly with my inner voice All feline femininity Where has gone the pretty kitty? The mighty huntress has emerged Blending with spirits of ancient walk Becoming the shadow of legend speak Moving in stealth as if a dream I have become the Jaguar The bars are barrier no longer Forces of the kundalini have awakened And I feel the reclamation of what once was I have met the imminent awakening And my roar is as thunder once more I walk again the paths of rebirth s.a.t. Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

In the classical literature of Hatha Yoga, kundalini is described as a coiled serpent at the base of the spine. Did it startle the cat. |

In the myths and stories of Dionysus the panther is a symbol of unleashing desires, and thus the awakening of the kundalini forces. The panther symbolizes a time of moving from mere poles of existence to a new life without poles or barriers. The panther in a Dionysic manner awakens the unconscious urges and abilities that have been closed down. It signals a time of imminent awakening. Thanks for your comments and replies. As the panther stalks the sky in endless horizons, be weary the stealth of unchained assurance whispering in the duty of hunt. For as the prey may fall only to feast on this meal, the cycle of resolution is the responsibility to capture the wild into tame only to unleash the wild again through endless cycles of survival. ______________________________ I have really enjoyed reading in here today and this one in particular has much to not only enjoy but also much to ponder. Well worth the read(s) I gave it and I am sure a couple more. It truely was a pleasure for me to read this one and I will continue to look for more of yours as I am not familiar with them. |
