My muse spilled this........don't know why. Wrap me in your blanket, darling, Rock me in your arms. I am in a weakened way And captivated by your charm. Hold my hands and kiss them clean. Walk me through the crystal stream; Bathe me in your silver dream. Your magic hushes all my screams. Wipe my tears and stroke my brow. Place a smile in me. Hold me ‘til the night is done; Then you can set me free. |

Good muse, I'd say! I definitely agree that this is lyrical... it sings off the page with a longing but lovely ache. I started to reply on this before but had to go so I hadta come back and read you again love it! Always, Alyssa Poems are made by fools like me, |

iliana, Yup, you're good! I really like this a lot. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

iliana, this poem reminds me of one that I wrote several years ago entitled, "Just for Tonight". I never posted it, but I literally got goosebumps reading your lyrically lilting poem. Your muse has not abandoned you! It was good to read your lovely collaboration! Love ya, lily jo! Linda |

Hi iliana. Mmm...love this piece. Love the ryhme scheme a-heck-of-a-lot! Bravo! It is a sad piece but deeply beautiful too. I could never write this way. I always end up twisting my poetry into convuluted pieces that are never what I first imagined. Bravo my friend! Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |

Set you free? Perhaps... But, on the other hand...why? After all, one can never get enough of something so nice as a poetess who writes so nicely!!! |

Not long ago, I felt one of your poems was difficult to write. I think this one just blossomed in you with a need to get out. Well done. Ken Through rubble and trouble and dark of night |
