Of Illusion Illusion throws a ken of light I’ve often used it as a guide To light the darkness of the night In sights just made to please a bride It throws an arc of rainbow road A fantasy from out a store An open hatch of egos mode Only this and nothing more Illusion is a desert sight Desire for a drinks relief A craving for a phantoms flight One that touches on belief It has the sparkle of a jewel To change the mundane with a splurge A useful and a handy tool But only lives the length of surge I’ve used illusion for its fizz And would you know just what it is. |
