Autumn comes soon its kiss is upon the air and the Cotton woods sigh “It’s that time of year” the Wisteria would dally but knows it's time to sleep as Summer seems to linger no longer and the skies begin to weep Mother Earth bows in submission to the coming change of the year summoning all of her children soon they must cloak in Winter’s wear so they begin to shed summer adorned in the transition of fall an expanse of transformation in answer to Mother’s call would that Summer could be fettered in chains of delay and Autumn could be anticipated as a guest upon different day but Mother knows best and there’s no turning back the clock so I’ll put on the kettle and welcome the Autumnal Equinox s.a.t. Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

beautiful... You know, autumn always made me kinda sad...depresssed, meaning we were facing a long cold winter of blistery rain, wind, ice and snow...but now, somehow, it doesn't seem as cold anymore...and instead of hating it, I'm starting to enjoy winter, keeping summer deeply imbedded in my heart... whewwww, spent a lot of years watching the leaves drop in saddness...now, it brings great anticipation and wonder... SMiles and hugs, this brought me to a lovely place. |

Yes, Autumn is most beautiful and truly is one of my favorite seasons. Unfortunately it is followed by winter, which is great for December, but January and February into March just drag -- brrrr! Would that it could only be a month or two of snow, rather than 4 to 5. Thanks for your kind replies - and hugs to you, my friends- Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Wow, what a slice of heaven you created. Yes, I noticed the leaves beginning to change a bit. It conjurs a bit of reminiscence about wood fires, potbelly stoves, multi-colored leaves, shorter days, chilly nights, cuddling under the covers in the warmth of my wife. A few thunderstorms roaring overhead. A bit more rain. I could keep going. You know it is beginning to feel a bit like the summer's coming to a head. Which reminds me to practice with the bow. Fall means my favorite season...hunting season. Yipeeeee! Big K |

Thanks muchly E.S. Kevo- the bow - ah what fun what fun! This October we will be having "the feast of Robin Hood" and will have lots of bow activity. Not to mention a roast and games and a bon fire. Ah, looking forward to that Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
