I’ve placed words heavy
In their staccato assonance
With brief outlines only
To grace a page
Then began to learn
There were subtleties in the sounds
And the story needed to unfold
       Sometimes in sparse inclusive colors
Other times in flakes of gentle remind

I’ve swirled among the planets
Jupiter in his way
                              Terse
With teasing
        Moonlit ideas romanced

I’ve seen the subtle passage of time
And woven phrase
From an old Marine who found god
A nun and life
Grace my mind a many a page

I’ve sat in awe of the power
People find in what they say
Been bored with common grievances
And still enjoyed the morning play

I’ve seen the colors
Danced the rhythms of formal verse
And found my own kind of solace
    In kind encouraging words

Now…
       I am the total
And less than the sum
      Added together
Subtracted
                 Then multiplied by
Those I’ve met

Here the words are ended
   And ended
                         Without regret

“Ben bij vrede mijn vrienden ik niet meer moet hier schrijven of op om het even welke pagina's dat anderen mijn mening kunnen lezen en mijn privacy me ik ben blind aan mijn eigen behoeften maar overwint het weet heb ik van velen geleerd de waarvan woorden als stof van sterren zijn die kosmische verwezenlijking in iets verwant aan de stem van god bewegen.”

Let me go find a translator for the ending...
but the beginning, and middle?

Music to my eyes...

Ron,  your words always have meaning to at least one on here ...

and I read and post mostly because of the same reasons you do..only your words flow right off the pages and into the hearts of many..

and do not ever doubt that~~

hugs for the many times you have given me support

Ah, so lovely.  I enjoy your tapestry of words - I too wish I had a translator - hmmmm, too bad it isn't German

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

words are one way  humans link every molecule to the other...
then, there is the silence, only truly understood by the gods in each of us....that links us more definitely to what we've yet....to understand.

So perfectly said...it is amazing how the words of others touch us, effect us, shape us and mold us into the people we become...I too wish I had a translator for the last part...your words are filled with wisdom one can touch...

Ron~

you are not blind to your own needs....words are not only a substance they heal....hoping you find the peace you are looking for....

(if I am reading the above correctly)

sigh....

I don’t want the world to see me
cause I don’t think that they’d understand
When everything’s made to be broken I just want you to know who I am

Well, all things eventually must end unfortunatley. Ron, go with a peaceful mind that it served its purpose for all at the time.  Your presence is truly enjoyed, as was this exit.  I suppose those that follow are all really the leaders?

This is the wonderful part actually I think.

I've always been in awe of your mastery of the language.  I've enjoyed your ability to weave words and create images. I certainly hope to read more from your talented storytelling. And I thank you for all you've shared with us.

Math? Dude! It never was my strongpoint.

But I do appeciate the beauty in your formula.

(and that bit at the bottom?..ummm, you might try using your spell-checker on that. It don't even RESEMBLE the Kings' English)

In your case, I'd like to think the words will never end . . . my poet friend.
