Nothing and Nowhere

0 posted 2004-09-14 04:28 AM

No one was listening,
To the pitter patter of the rain
Radio's turned up
To block out the pounding.

No one wasl listening
To her stifled screams
Blaring hip hop, R&B and Rock
Were the only sounds
Worth listening to.

Too wrapped up
To listen to anything,
But themselves.

If they were unwrapped
Someone would have listened
Before it was too late.

Tomorrow, is the today we feared yesterday.

Yes it is something no-one wants to know.

In every country you have this and someone knows and does nothing.

I can appreciate your words.

No one was listening.  And no one ever will.  Sigh.
