Reading Poetry and Art

In reading lines of artistry
Your taste will sip to some degree
A brew of leaves that touched your life
And made you dance your music’s fife

It will be, as none other, not
Even your sister or brother
But a moment of lever’s last
To slip into forever’s past

For you are the all of rhyme
That is the shawl of father time
The change that makes forever’s tea
The brewing of eternity

This is the nectar of the brew
The senses touch of cleaver view
The substance of the common soil
That brings the pot unto a boil

We stand apart and yet as one
Until the tea is brewed and done

You sir, are an early morning prozac
a fragrant positive mood
the rhyme of healthy mind
and heart
This was beautiful!
Morning and Happy Friday!
Just think, still another week has already passed?
Where does it go?

Goooood morning, Sy,

Ah, you do bring out the wannabe artist in me!  Love these lines (as well as your total masterpiece):

  In reading lines of artistry
Your taste will sip to some degree
A brew of leaves that touched your life
And made you dance your music’s fife

You sure brew some potent tea...
always enough for the poets, and me.

When an artist is a poet... those of us who appreciate their gifts are doubly blessed. *S*

Nectar indeed, my friend... and it sustains us! *S* Excellent work!

Good morning my fine nectar brewster!

"We stand apart and yet as one

~ What a lovely thought...

Mr. T., you are one heckuvan artistic poet!

EA

P.S. I must apologize. When I have wished for you to always have lots of wind in your sails, I hadn't been thinking of hurricane force ones!  I must be far more careful as to how I word my wishes from now on!

Wonderful line here, Sy.  This made me warm all over.  Yes, we are apart but one.  I liked that last couplet a whole bunch, too!  Stay safe, gentle man.   ...jo
