Times To Remember

When we first met
it meant everything to me.
Still I wasn't sure if it
meant anything to you.
I've been waiting most of
my life for a woman like you,
so when we met I knew
just what to do.
I knew that my time
of waiting was through.
Looking at you, my eyes
sent a message to my heart,
she is a special one,
she could be the one,
say the right words,
do the right things,
give a good first impression.
And my heart told my eyes,
look at her, look at her,
isn't she a sight to see.
Yes, you were pleasing to my eyes,
and my heart felt a warm connection,
and it was truly amazing when you
told me you felt a connection too.
And so you called me on the phone
wanting to spend time with me, and
I desire you more each day and
I'll spend lots of time with you.
Times to remember in the hearts of two.
