Do you hear the geese flying over? I think it is a sign of cooler weather. Last night, they sang long and loud, causing my mind to take excursions beyond my doors and windows. Would that I could gather up on wings and sail away to you . . . Did you hear me sing to you last night? Could you feel the beat of my heart? In the mixture of these thoughts, I long for a new season. |
