the meatloaf sizzles and the silence
feels warm against my skin, tensed
and trapped inside scream against
scream against…

my heart-suffocation never felt so
good. just forget about crying, just
let yourself lay against the regrets;
push yourself, dizzy against this
current of trying to be who you are.

who you are. you are who-

is this girl with the burning mascara
eyes. whispers echo

“this just isn’t right”.

no but its our sick game, right?

wouldn’t want to give up on something
that consists of blue eyes and the color
green meshes well with the tips of
your fingers and this is what we live for.

this is us but it’s the only thing that

resembles a part of me –

a part of this smile makes me want to
dance even when i’m not sure of any
thing at this moment,

my heart-suffocation never felt so

i’m convinced butterflies can’t fly in
the rain. i’m convinced fire flies
have a bigger heart than all of us;

that my little girl just doesn’t want to

if i knew what that was, maybe the
pictures wouldn’t burn wounds
against wounds against my chest.

everything’s starting to hurt but
the eyes staring into the back of
my neck is dripping with goodbyes

I dont accept the lot of screaming going bit.

It is something you can understand and feel.

In terms of talent, it is there, maybe a few years to go but a barrier seems to have been broken that will allow talent to flow.

We all have to start somewhere, and that is how we start.
