Bright night eyes turn dark corners
cutting and dividing the silk of night
creatures hide like scared mourners
running from the onslaught of nearing light.

The roar of motors echo
like a screaming beast in road torn landscape
proclaiming a fearful foe
that offers no remorse and no escape.
