Equilibrium plugged ears dizziness each step methodical forward intent upon my goal home rest I step into the cool of my living room the pressure on my ears releases dizziness gone I sit exhale my legs reflex the memory of my walk my head clears refreshed by the shadowed air almost like a cavern’s yet not damp with clogged moisture the edge of hunger has subsided only the knowledge that I should eat remains balance I must find a balance between feast and fast ©July 3, 2004 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

Ummm....even I wrote a poem some years back on my tinnitus... it's NOT fun! The first time it hit, it put me down for four days...and I likened the subject matter to Beethoven's affliction with deafness.... which is not quite the same...but still, you'd either wish it would come full force, or go away for all time. Hope you're feeling better, soon! |
