Though we have not met,
as the moon crosses the sky
your voice lingers-
in dewdrops on the lotus
gathered in the long dark night.

oh these quiet peaceful summer days and nights.  How I love to sit and look up into the sky, and the full moons fill me up....incredibly beautiful picture and song.  Thank you

we meet
in drops of rain
in leaves that wander the storms of august
we meet
through the language of fingertips touching
the sky that shares us.

Very nice, as is inkedgoddess' reply.  Lovely.

Thank you Inkked Goddess for this lovely poem of ethereal beauty

From distant shores,
we both gaze upon one moon
in silence-
beneath this sky that shares us
as raindrops merge in the sea.

not to mention the thoughts going through my mind.

Beautiful work choshi~

though we have met
we stand separate again
divided as dewdrops
amid the forest of disrobing branches
somehow finding consolation
beneath the splendor of autumn

In their brief moment
where will they find respite?
morning dewdrops-
withered leaves no longer hold them
in the rising sun's light.

in the voices of hearts
beyond what's near or far.
