Lagging behind like a donkey gone lame unable to integrate into new plans my heart and the hearts of others I know bends under the weight of commitment. Down comes the rain or is it the pain of the unconscious birth of insight that pushes the limits of confinement in a body once healthy and whole? If not a limb then an organ, the skin, retains disempowerment like a bath sponge and soaks up disease instead of freedom to give and receive true love’s honesty. And life has no value, no meaningful worth, during the process of insight’s rebirth and those in the know can do nothing bold to ease or hasten this internal journey. But the donkey once lame will walk again if the image of love is highlighted today and carried within like a prescribed pill to relieve the burdens of life. The burdens of life; how constantly sure they intrude and claim ownership rights to my heart and the hearts of others I know till love disappears and grows unhealthy cells in the eternal body of soul! |
