Time stretched out upon the sand Endless tan lines bronze the land Swept away in ivory trance Accommodations made for chance Embroiled chase of minds appeal Luxurious of leathers feel On skins of subtle motions sway Behind the drive a chase away The miles spent pass by content Held tighter in sublime ascent The view from here so sleek a fear Aside the road that led us here The kickstand down behold the heart Discovery made in nature’s art Exploring deep in raspberry trails Intoxicating wildflower veils The moon bows broad a summer smile Your touch the crown of traveled mile The grasses soft beneath low light Where you and I blend know tonight Copyright Kkh 8/7/04 |

This was a wonderful adventure, there is nothing like a bike trip to remind me of how fabulous getting away from it all can be. Good job. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

And the spirit soars...as the winds sail by the ear and eyes squint to see.... A marvelous ride, and the beach sounds fantabulous... |

T.D. I like the lyrical rhythm of this, the images present, especially the tan lines upon the land. I do have to say I don't understand the 3rd line of the 3rd stanza and the last line of the poem. Can you help me out? Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
