Where You Are

It's much like sunrise; it's clearly undeniable
There hanging in a shade of awesome
That's where you are; in the center of my divine light
Where my new day always finds you
And, your warmth is breath taking...

It's much like sundown; it fathers my recognition
There overhead in a shade of honor
That's where you are; in my hour of dusk taking place
Where my days end acknowledges you
And, eager claims the moment to dream...

It's much like the wind; it polishes my awareness
There embracing in a shade of unseen
That's where you are; in the spirit of natures breath
Where in my conscious you ride the breeze
And, longing to feel you becomes my fate...

It's much like the rain; it gives in to an idle storm
There releasing in a shade of relief
That's where you are; in my calling for vital waters
Where my need for you is delivered
And, I thirst no more in your offering...

It's much like the seasons; it's an unforgettable beauty
There revealing in a shade of itself
That's where you are; in it's power to touch all life
Where you resemble it's generosity
And, looking away is just impossible...

It's much like the heavens; it's a gift to our souls
There lastingly in a shade of home
That's where you are; in it's mercy I hold for all time
Where you appear just as it's glory
And, loving you is all that I know...

Wow, such extreme, and powerful words. Very nice. I most liked the last lines. Very strong, and quite beautiful.

Thanks for sharing these words, and I did very much enjoy them.

A pouring from the heart, warm flows of milk and honey. Well done Saundra.

I almost missed this gentle write. Sauni, the wind will always take your favorite memories, and gift them back to you when you need them most. Hello, dear friend.
