hail larry or some other 5am jesus, not jesus but jesus the IHOP jockey pushing java and greasy fixes for arteries that are getting soft security guards change shifts like socks on each other's feet at the theatre without windows and walls, nearly nude for the first time again taxi man has yellow jello under his t shirt pillow and ashes on his jeans from a cigar in the non smoking chevroulette until the brakes get done he will just slow down for pickups and drunks and the rhino girls that pay with tips in the rear view mirror and want to go to heaven if he knows the way there or has anything left they can get for trade and the light changes to red sky morning ______________ Dark |
