How well I know the fortress By the ton, a heavy sigh Built around me in the hush of springs Tangled in my own heart strings Seraph of the granite gate To be heard articulate The course of me your hands to cup I seek the passage lift me up For water wells Insistent in the flow it dwells In trickle of my destiny Niagara in the least to be Around the broken promises Erode of blistered homage’s This kiss awakens of the sun In fire melts a truth so hardly won How well I know the fortress By the ton, a heavy sigh Copyright Kkh 8/6/04 |

As always, TD, I enjoy your work and your style. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |
