with promises of never to leave,
today I found tears in my eyes.

The promises you made are now gone
for you’re not here.

I only hope you’ll be happy wherever
the roads lead,
as you go a part of me leaves with you.

Without a word you walked away leaving me
with only the memories we shared, the love
I gave you.

This poem really makes me feel... to remember... Take care, Kiddo. You're pretty ok. I feel badly this happened, but we never know what the future will be. (I've had doors shut that re-opened at a better time. Perhaps?) You expressed yourself very well, froggy.

It hurts..I know....when we are taught to believe in fairytales...

fairytales are for fairies...

I am starting to believe happily ever after does not exist...at least here!
