Grape flavored candy turns my mouth a shocking purple. I purse my lips and stare into the mirror. Stick out my tongue to show the color even more And then quickly hide it back inside. My smile widens – grape flavored and violet colored. I look at my eyes in the mirror – look into my eyes. Hazel green and ringed with brown. Sometimes if I’m in a certain light They have a purple hue as well. I try to match my eyes to my tongue. Wagging my head, I dance to the music. I turn in front of the mirror. No charade to keep up. No need to pay attention to how I dance Or what I’m wearing Or if the candy is making grape flavored, Purple tinged drool lines down my chin. I look at myself and simply grin. |

These moments, when one is oneself without regard for what may be interpreted, they are most wonderful. I really enjoyed sharing such a moment with you. Susan Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you. Joy is a state of mind. |

Endlessecho -- I really liked this poem of abandon -- made me grin, too! Clicking library. |
