Vacillate of mood, to humid brood Then pour this deluge of the soul exude Unhampered summer scampered into fall Then back to tropic philanthropic farewell call Plummeting barometer too temperate thermometer Of cutting edge occurrences all uninsured assurances Too sad, the soul will weep Spent in what so pure the heart must keep Measured inch by inch a mile a smile Bluster of the moments that reduce in while Drip dry dawn, enigma coming on And why, should unto myself deny To touch beyond the glassy sphere Silence wanders here, wanders in degrees of clear Too cold, the sudden shift from new to old Left sullen on the face, relenting of a special place And given in the rushes of climatic shifts it touches But then again, much further through the storm has been The blow that wakes the sun, a new day hit and run In turn of lunar burn, and lift my eyes upon demise For you became the rise of what was heavy in the air Copyright Kkh 8/4/04 |

I don't believe I've ever read such a graceful description of barometric pressure. sadly beautiful, as always TD you pen masterful words--the use of assonance here truly caught my eye too. Enjoyed. |

Beautiful as always Kathleen... and exactly what happened to the weather here in the past twenty four hours. Hugs~ ~ Those who complain the sun has gone out of their world |

You have a gift of using words, making them so unique while writing of something so very common. The mark of a true poet..... |
