I'm trying to forget your face,
And failing miserably.
I hear your bitter-sweet voice,
And it's haunting me.

I'm staring at my reflection,
Remembering when
I lost myself in your eyes;
Wishing I could again.

I'm thinking of our energy,
Fused as one, forever;
I'm reminded of the connection
We made together.

I'm tracing our steps back
From beginning to end,
And still wondering about all
That could have been.

We see much, observe little, and perceive less.

Just curious. . . . Would Fused then Forgotten be a better title?

around here you will find that you are never alone and many of us feel or have felt what you are feeling now. Writing it out helps..
