make love to my mind
crawl inside
darkness beckons
cobweb binds, my hands and mouth
come be my muse
entrap me
wrap me
with obtuse, notions
diamonds
glittering snow
follow me darling
we'll be late for the show
I have paid your fare
no need for excuse
just fall into my mind
let me be your muse

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

"make love to my mind"

~ I absolutely adore that line!

For me, that is where it all starts!

Yes, I hear this.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

perfect....i love reading your stuff

in the end it's not just you with your memories and your scars, fall on me if you ever forget how beautiful you are.

Now…when all the lights are out
And not a fool can see.
Now…when it could matter less
My tongue has been set free.
My imagination’s soaring
I feel like I could sing.
With no one here to notice
My soul has taken wing.
Perhaps that’s how it’s meant to be,
With no audience around.
Perhaps just like that fallen tree
A soul still makes a sound.
And so, I sing to darkness
Without a single ear
I whisper dreams of childhood
With no one there to here.
I share a smile with emptiness
And fill the room with knowing
That even with no eye to see
My naked soul is showing.

With that title and then that first line I knew this would be interesting. It is. I like it. Y'know, I could use a new muse...

Always, Alyssa

...I am a girl of tears.
