Once the summer wind stood still with nary a breeze to ripple Kroeker’s pond above a sparrow hawk sat as a feathered sentinel atop the lone cottonwood that has grown forever beside pond’s spring fed waters below a man sat upon a fallen limb in silent bond with the hawk as if perhaps in that one moment in time they saw as one as time stood still a man and bird perched upon God’s windowsill |

A keeper. Thank you, Tim. I love the imagery, the powerful sense of one moment in time when two disimilar creatures can seem as one. |

Sir, they all captured the same lines I was going to copy... I wish I had been the first to read this... but I was working on my book. Sigh. I know this pond... I saw you sitting there. It's so good to see you posting again. More, please. |

I've been to this pond before and have seen God's handywork so vividly displayed for my enjoyment, thanks for taking me back |
