It was a perfect day and a perfect night the sky was cloudless and the moon, our only light I can still smell you a scent that drove me insane It made me want to hold you especially when the rain came But the rain didnt stop us In fact, it didnt even slow us down Our love grew until that night the night that the end came around It was so unexpected and so heartbreaking This was an unjustly abuse that my heart was taking It took a while to let it go to get past the denial Meanwhile, i hid my feelings behind a simple smile Looking back realizing that it wasnt a mistake That it was simply just a chance I decided to take So I challenge others to face such a fate to love someone so dearly that your heart never has a steady rate To be infatuated with their smile and with their touch This feeling, the greatest in the world, is what I will miss so much ------------------ "If you love something let it go...if it comes back to you it is yours...if it doesnt then it never was" [This message has been edited by starboards (edited 11-28-1999).] |

I'll take you up on your challenge  It certainly opens us up for a lot of pain and suffering... but the chance that it will work and we would get to experience something SO beautiful is well worth the risk in my book. Good for you..... Well said ...well spoken and..... well penned. As for the challange... I would agree with Thunder....scary as it may seem I too would risk my heart for the feelings of feeeling WONDERFUL, even if it were for only for a moment or so... is well worth it. GREAT JOB. |

Well, starboards, everytime I "love" someone my heart seems to just plain stop dead in it's tracks....LOL But I'll never stop loving for life would be pointless without the effort. michael |
