I'm the color black because I've been sold to sin. Seen so many deaths in this world i live within. With Tears of evil filled with pride The black Rose and Dragon Sign's Of dead love and a forgotten honor. I've Been cursed to be alone and wonder. Fearful thoughts And Time gone bye So it's in these memories I cry. |

This "romantic" (in the sense of that epoch of writing, not ooey-gooey love) evocation of the lone sinner longing for love is excellent! Uta Lotharingia "Wir wollen nicht Wert und Sinn ... wir wollen Unwert und Unsinn" Raoul Hausmann |

Well now. I like the work, and would like to see more of it. But the response to A_L bothered me. "amazon lover thanks for your concern but this is part of who i am and the type of writer i am and i can't change that.' smacks of futility and self pity... I don't believe there is anything about oneself that one cannot change (not speaking of the physical of course), choosing to be who and how we are makes us human, believing we are powerless to create ourselves makes us less so... If you can't change the type of writer you are, you will never reach the fullness of your talent, if you choose not to change, then acknowledge the choice and do not claim inability. Okay, I just entered a party to which I was not invited.... beg pardon. Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn. JP "Everything is your own damn fault, if you are any good." E. Hemmingway |
