To those who were not there To those who did not care Why did you have to pick me To not set free Why can't I climb out of this hole That binds my heart And cages my soul I'm alone here in this place With only the blurry memories of what I used to be My glass world has been shattered It now lays before me, In sharp, cutting pieces My tears turn to ices as they fall silently and unseen to the floor I used to be so happy But I suppose that was not meant to be And I don't know what happened to me... |

Hello Bunny... a very touching poem. It makes me wonder what has happened to the person in the poem... what is happening in their life. It invokes a feeling of wanting to know more!!  |

GREAT POEM One thing I've realized in life though is that no matter how we feel that people don't care, they actually do. You have to realize that sometimes thy are the ones that makes you mad for they really care and tell you the opposite of what you want to hear. Sometimes we close ourselves off from everyone when we're hurt and it's hard for anyone else to get in..to care. I look forward to reading more from you..you have a good perspective on this.  |
