Will you come with me
Take my hand
I will take you with me
Close your eyes
I will show you the way
I will take you to the dark
Into me into my words
I will be your guide
Allow the words
That are my song
to envelop you
to wrap you in its images
Heat fire Cold darkness
The space in you
deep down
where you can't see
i will illuminate
The Dark is calling
Take my Hand

Walter,
this is exquisite...truly
I love when you write like this...
beautiful, gentle words of longing...
adorned with the darkness and light of your poets heart.
this goes on my fav list too

you know me walter...
i've never been afraid of the dark...*smile*

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.

~Ooohh,...this is good.  Frighteningly real. (Not sure if that's a word, I seem to be making my own these days). Anyway,...great read here. Truly. Take care. *Peace.

Anonther fine piece of work Walter!

I had to read this several times to regain my typing skills....you shook me with this one, It is amazing, the words...the images...An amazing look into the "dark"....but allow me a moment to say...if you listen, perhaps there is someone calling to you in the light.  Take care W.P. this was a magnificent piece.

can you hear a voice calling
whispered promises from the night
an invitation to dance ...
to dance with the shadows --
between the dark and light
night breezes carry a song
stars light up the midnight sky
a blue celestial moon glows
anticipation is on high
no need for hesitation
on this journey to embark
for just a moment ...
a moment to go dancing in the dark
